2 stocks under $7 I'm trading right now

Hi — Jason Bond here.

Here’s 2 stocks I’m trading. 1 long and 1 short. Both under $7.

1 long:

I like HTZ to $7.50-$8, likely $9 on a big longer of a hold.

Most of what I do is 1-4 day holds.

So for HTZ I think it tests $8 before the end of the week.

I’ve bought 6,000 shares so far for the swing.

1 short:

DTCK is the other trade I like but NOT long. I like this one short down to $3.50’s.

Shares are so overbought the RSI is at 98.10 as I type. RSI above 70 is overbought. And to be clear, the highest this oscillator can go is 100.

I expect a sharp and big crash on this name with retracement around $3 - $2.50.

I’m short this name with 2,000 shares so far. Cover goal in the $3’s.

If you are new, to be clear, short selling is betting against the price.

They do have a baby shelf in the $9’s but I’d be shocked if they got it there before dilution.

Dilution indicates their need for money.

DTCK’s cash need is high. Here’s what my resources say…

Cash Position:

The company has 0.4 months of cash left based on quarterly cash burn of -$0.19M and estimated current cash of $0.0M.

A shelf or raise on their current shelf will likely drop the stock.

But even without a raise, once the short squeeze is over, down comes the stock.

Then I’ll look to go long.

In summary:

I’m long-term LQMT stock — goal $.20’s - $2’s.

I’ve bought a swing on HTZ stock — goal $7.50-$8, maybe $9.

And I’m short DTCK stock — goal is $3.50 - $3.
